This impeller type offers optimal cost-efficiency for small to medium-volume mixing applications. The blade configuration generates predominantly axial flow with radial components, producing effective shear turbulence. The inclined blades operate at low rotational speeds while delivering enhanced turbulence intensity. This design is typically the preferred choice for straightforward mixing processes. |
Installation Guidelines
● Impeller Positioning: For VDA/VRG series: Position the impeller in the lower third of the liquid level. In constant-level vessels, central liquid-level placement is acceptable.
?For VRP series: Maintain a minimum clearance of >0.75 times the impeller diameter from the vessel bottom.
● Agitator Mounting: Centrally align the agitator within cylindrical vessels. Install baffles on the vessel walls, with quantities matching the impeller blade count.
If baffles cannot contact the vessel wall, maintain a gap of 2% of the vessel diameter. Baffle dimensions: 8% of vessel diameter in width, matching liquid level height.
For VDA/VRG series in cylindrical vessels, eccentric positioning (without baffles) is permissible. Recommended eccentricity: 1/3 of the vessel diameter. Minimum impeller-to-wall clearances: VDA ≥100mm, VRG ≥200mm.
